2月2回目の例会はメンバーに加え、ゲスト6名をお迎えしたので部屋がいっぱいになりました。
In the second meeting of February, the room was filled with members and 6 guests as well.
今日のワードはTdさんが考えてくれた「Education／教育」。その言葉に相応しく、学びの多い例会でした。
Td provided us a word of the evening “Education”. As this word means, we could learn many things through the meeting.
準備スピーチでは、Meさんはご自身の経験から得た学びを皆んなに分かりやすく伝えてくれました。TeSさんは普段は表現することが難しい心の叫びを面白い方法で、笑いを交えながら話してくれました。
In prepared speeches, Me shared what she learned from her experience with clear expression. TeS gave a speech about his intimate feeling which is difficult to share in daily life uniquely with smiles.
テーブルトピックスのテーマは「バレンタイン」。Lさんの準備した質問に対し、突然当てられたゲストの方は少し驚いていましたが、みなさん素晴らしいスピーチをしてくれました。
The theme of Table topics was “Valentine”. Some guests seemed to be surprised when Table topic master L suddenly asked them, however, everyone gave a wonderful speech.
当クラブのオリジナル企画である「５分間LGBTレクチャー」が、この日は特別に２本立てでした。Yuさんの「トランスジェンダーとトイレの問題」、Gさんの取り上げた「NGワードとアウティング」、どちらもとても身近なテーマであるにもかかわらず、見過ごされがちなので、改めて問題を認識する学ぶ良い機会になりました。
The unique item of this club “5 minutes LGBT lecture” has usually only 1 topic for a meeting, but this time we had 2 interesting titles, which are “Rest-room issue for transgenders” by Yu and “NG words and outing” by G. Both lectures are so familiar for us, but sometimes overlooked. It was a good opportunity to learn the issue again even among our club.
次回の例会はもう3月。花粉症に悩まされる季節ではありますが、体調には気をつけつつ次回を迎えたいですね。
March is coming soon. Although it’s a tough season that many people may be suffered from hay fever in Japan, we would like to enjoy the next meeting by taking care of ourselves and keeping our good health.
