91st meeting

暑い夏が秋へと涼しくなり始めました。東京レインボートーストマスターズ第91回例会にご参加いただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。献身的なメンバーの皆様のご苦労のおかげで、楽しい夜となりました。今回のミーティングでは、4つのスピーチと2つの自己紹介が用意されていました。
自己紹介スピーチをするのは簡単ではありません。クラブに入会するのは、クラブメートに会ったことのない人には難しいかもしれませんが、この2つの自己紹介は、会員が自己紹介をして、他の人に声をかけてもらえるように、意図的に幅広い内容にしたものです。本当に、今の環境では、人と人とのつながりへの誘いが今まで以上に必要とされています。
また、TRTMCの新しいロゴの草案も見せていただきました。このロゴに込められた深い思いを見ることができて楽しかったですし、次のバージョンを見るのが楽しみです。
1月にはTRTMCの100回目の会合、2月と3月にはスピーチコンテスト、そして今年は10月に「ハロウィン」をテーマにした合同会合があります。皆さんの仮装は何にしますか？今年は伝統的なかぼちゃにしようかな。もし丸いコスチュームを着たら、いいソーシャルディスタンスをキープします。
今回の例会は、13名のメンバーと2名のゲストが参加してくれました。ご参加いただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。
次回のミーティングでお会いできることを楽しみにしています～
The hot summer has begun to cool into fall. Thank you everyone who participated in the 91stmeeting of Tokyo Rainbow Toastmasters. It was a fun evening, thanks to the hard work of all of our dedicated members. This meeting we had four prepared speeches, two self-introductions.
Doing a self-introduction speech isn’t easy, especially online. It can be hard joining a club when you’ve never met your clubmates, so these two self-introductions tailored themselves purposely to be broad so that the members could introduce themselves and invite others to reach out to them. Truly, in today’s environment, we need now more than ever an invitation to connect with others.
We also were teased with some rough draft versions of the TRTMC’s new logo. It was fun to see the deep thought put into the logo and we’re looking forward to seeing the next version soon.
We have a lot of exciting events: come January we will be celebrating TRTMC’s 100th meeting, in February and March are speech contests, and this year later in October, we are having a “Halloween themed” joint meeting. What will be your costume? Perhaps this year I’ll go with a traditional pumpkin—if I’m round enough, I can maintain proper social distance.
This meeting we had 13 members in attendance and 2 guests. Thank you to everyone who participated!
