TRTMCコンテスト

本日は年一回のビッグイベント、クラブコンテストが行われました。
クラブコンテストは国際トーストマスターズクラブ規則に基づいて行われる公式大会で、日本語部門、英語部門それぞれ上位２名が3月に行われるエリアコンテストに進むことができます。この日は、東京レインボーTMCにとっては初のオンラインによるコンテスト開催でした。
役割紹介、ルール説明の後、Lさんの司会進行のもと、先に日本語部門で４名の出場者がスピーチを行いました。普段より少し緊張感のある中で、各々今日のために完成度を上げて臨んだ内容を披露してくれました。
続いて行われた英語部門の出場者は３名。リアルな会場とは違い、スクリーン越しという制限のある条件にも関わらず、熱意の伝わるスピーチをしてくれました。
３名のゲストの方も含め、聴衆の皆さんも画面越しから暖かい声援を送ったり、スピーチ後にはフィードバックをするなど、全員参加で盛り上げてくれました。
そして最後に受賞者発表。メンバーからは「順位をつけるのが難しかった」とコメントが出るくらいレベルの高いスピーチばかりでしたが、日本語部門はTaと、Toさん、英語部門はCさんとYさんが上位に選出され、3月のエリアコンテストに出場することになりました。
出場者の皆さん、当日スタッフを引き受けてくれた皆さん、そして参加してくださった皆さん、皆さんのおかげで無事にクラブコンテストを終えることができました。本当にありがとうございました！
来年もまた素晴らしいコンテストが開催できるように、がんばっていきましょう！
Today, a big event was held since one year, it’s “Club contest”.
The club contest is an official competition according to the rules of the International Toastmasters Club, the top two speakers from each of the Japanese and English divisions can proceed to the next stage “Area contest” held this March. This day was the first online contest for Tokyo Rainbow TMC.
After introducing the roles and explaining the rules, four contestants made their speeches each in the Japanese language division first by the facilitator L-san. In a slightly more tense atmosphere than usual, every contestant provided wonderful speeches which are prepared well for today.
The English language division followed, we had three contestants. Despite the restricted conditions through the screen unlike the real venue, all contestants completed giving well-prepared speeches that convey their passion.
The audience, including the three guests, cheered warmly through the screen and kindly gave feedback after the speech.
In the end, the winners were announced. All the speeches were fantastic and impressive as some members said that it was so difficult to choose the winner, but finally, we chose 4 nominees for the area contest in March, Ta and To-san from the Japanese division, and C-san and Y-san from the English division.
Thanks to all the participants, all role takers, and the audience and guests, we could finish the club contest without any big troubles. we appreciate to all of you!
