【第124回例会】2022年02月05日（土） 



2月最初の例会は3日の節分、4日の立春に続く、5日に開催され、会員１０名とゲスト３名の参加がありました。Kさんがめでたく入会されました！

東京ではまだまだ寒い日々が続いていますが、待ち遠しい春が早く訪れるよう、例会の「今日の言葉」は「暖かい」でした。TMOEのTM.TFさんは、短い準備時間にも関わらず充実した例会プログラムを用意し、またスピーカーに対して思いやりがあるコメントとスムーズな進行で素敵なリーダーシップを披露してくれました。

 

LGBTQ５分間レクチャーでは、TM.TSが性別の正体についての最新の研究成果をレポートし、「性別は左利きや右利きのようなものであり、好きな人とデートすればよい」との心強いメッセージを発信されました。

 

テーブルトピックスセッションでは、TM.TKさんが「前日の立春が冬から春への変わり目である」ことから「転機」に着目し、興味深いトピックを出題し、５名の参加者に即興スピーチをして頂きました。

冬から春になったと感じた瞬間は、八百屋さんでタラの芽を見かけた時であるというTM.Kさん。

子供から大人になったと感じた瞬間は、家族の事情を理解し、自分の力で家族を助けた時であるというTM.Oさん。

苦しいから嬉しいに変わった瞬間は、TRTMCでの一歩一歩の努力により、会社で苦手なプレゼンが楽しくなった時であるというTM.Aさん

嫌いから好きに変わった経験は、苦手な人と付き合うとき、コミュニケーションを通して、共通点などを見つけることで、苦手意識がなくなるというMさん。

好きから大好きに変わった経験は、ご自身のロマンチックな体験であるFさん。

 

準備スピーチセッションでは、TM.Uが多くのトーストマスターズクラブで挙げられた「例会のマンネリズム」課題の提起、および東京レインボートーストマスターズならではの対策、および期待できる効果を７分間のスピーチで解説しました。聞き手から多くの賛成が得られました。

 

TM.Yは「L3自分のユーモアセンスを知る」のプロジェクトに基づいて、親族のお葬式での挨拶を再現しました。ユーモアは聞き手を笑わせるだけではなく、辛い時、少しでも辛さを減らす力を持つと教えていただきました。

 

「暖かい春は必ずくる！」

 

 

The first meeting of February was held on the 5th, following Setsubun or the day between two seasons on the 3rd and Risshun or the beginning of spring on the 4th, and was attended by 10 members and 3 guests.

Despite the cold days still ahead in Tokyo, the "word of the evening" for the meeting was "warm" to welcome the long-awaited spring. TMOE. TF prepared a full meeting program despite the short preparation time, and showed great leadership by making thoughtful comments to the speakers and facilitating the meeting smoothly.

 

In the LGBTQ 5-minute lecture, TM. TS reported on the latest research findings on the nature of gender, and delivered the reassuring message that "gender is like left-handedness or right-handedness; you can date whoever you want.

 

In the Table Topics session, TM.TK asked the five participants to give impromptu speeches on interesting topics, focusing on "turning point" since the previous day's Risshun was the turning point from winter to spring.

 

TM.K said that the moment they felt that winter had turned to spring was when they saw “tara-no-me” (Fatsia sprouts or young shoots of angelica trees) at the grocery store.

 

TM.O said that the moment they felt they became an adult from a child was when they understood their family's situation and helped them with their own strength.

 

TM.A said that the moment when they went from painful to happy was when their step-by-step efforts at TRTMC made a work presentation they was not good at enjoyable.

 

The experience that changed M from dislike to love was when they communicate with someone they was not comfortable, and through communication, they was able to find something in common, which made their dislike disappear.

 

F, whose experience of changing from liking to loving was a romantic experience of their own.

 

In the preparatory speech session, TM.U gave a 7-minute speech on the issue of "meeting rut" that has been raised in many Toastmasters clubs, the measures that Tokyo Rainbow Toastmasters Club can take, and the effects that can be expected. The speech received a lot of support from the audience.

 

Based on the project "L3 Know Your Sense of Humor," TM.Y recreated a speech at a relative's funeral. They taught us that humor not only makes the listener laugh, but also has the power to make difficult times less difficult.

 

A warm spring will surely come!
