【特別例会】カラフルカフェin葉山♪♪

7月30日（土）は特別例会！！有志で海に遊びに行きました！！

目指したのは葉山にある『カラフルカフェ』。葉山・一色海岸の老舗海の家『UMIGOYA』の一角に建つ、LGBTQ+フレンドリーな海の家です。

実はこの『カラフルカフェ』、3年前の2019年にもメンバー有志で行っているんですが、それからたった3年で世の中は大きく変わってしまいました。

COVID-19、そして火事（！！）による『UMIGOYA』の資産焼失…。そんな困難を乗り越えて、今年、3年ぶりにオープン…と聞けば、もう、行くしかないでしょう！！

電車に乗って逗子駅まで行って、そこからさらにバスに揺られること30分ほど。

Saturday, July 30 was a special meeting! We went to the beach to have fun!

Our goal was "Colorful Cafe" in Hayama. It is an LGBTQ+ friendly beach house located in the corner of "UMIGOYA," a long-established beach house on Isshiki Beach in Hayama.

Actually, this "Colorful Cafe" was held three years ago in 2019 by member volunteers, but the world has changed a lot in just three years since then.

COVID-19, and the fire (!!!) The fire that destroyed the assets of "UMIGOYA".... After overcoming such difficulties, and hearing that UMIGOYA is opening this year for the first time in three years, there was no choice but to go!

Take the train to Zushi Station, and then take a 30-minute bus ride.

こんな小道を5分も歩けば、聞こえてくる潮騒の響き。

そして目の前に…

Walking along such a path for 5 minutes, you can hear the sound of the ocean waves.

And right in front of you...

見てください！この青空ときらめく海を背景にはためくレインボーフラッグ🏳️‍🌈アガりますね～✨✨

ここ、一色海岸は2013年にアメリカのニュース専門放送局【CNN】の選ぶ“世界ベスト100ビーチ”で65位にランクインしたこともある、とってもキレイな海岸。

Isshiki Beach is a beautiful beach that was ranked 65th in the "World's 100 Best Beaches" by the American news broadcaster CNN in 2013.

今回参加した8名のメンバーは思い思いに泳いだり…

富士山の雄大なシルエットを浮かび上がらせる様に見とれたりと、夏の思い出を満喫したのでした。

Tokyo Rainbow Toastmasters Club (TRTMC) is the only "Club for LGBTQ+ and Ally" in Japan. With the three pillars of "safe," "diversity," and "skill up," members of various sexualities, ages, genders, and nationalities gather on the first and third Saturday of every 1st and 3rd Saturday, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to learn public speaking. Please join us!

It's free to visit our club three times. We welcome anyone who wants to be a better presenter, has stage fright or other public speaking difficulties, or wants to connect with their LGBTQ+ peers.
