【第158回例会】2023年8月5日（土）
第158回通常例会は8月の第1回目、ハイブリット例会です。
まだまだ暑い日が続いていますが、そうこうしているともうすぐお盆休みになりますね。
さて会員の参加人数が少なかった事と、急に参加出来なくなってしまったメンバーが居たので役割の負担が増えてしまいましたが、それぞれ自発的に役割を担ってくれていたのがとても印象的でした。
そしてメンバーの紹介から今回喜ばしい事に初参加のゲストが3名いらしてくれました。
TMOEはKEさん。いつも落ち着いてるのでベテランの雰囲気が漂っている気がしますね。
今夜の言葉はYさんの『後ろ髪を引かれる』でした。私自身、うまく取り入れられなかったので正に後ろ髪を引かれる思いでした。
さて準備スピーチはKさんとティファニーさんの2名でした。
Kさんのトピックは『マイクロアグレッション』に関する内容でKさん自身の体験した事、事例からの分析と色々な角度からのとても興味深いスピーチでした。
ティファニーさんのスピーチはいつもデリバリーが素晴らしく、深い内容のスピーチと相まって印象深くいつも私たちに届けてくれます。
途中、休憩を入れて後半の部に入ります。
テーブルトピックマスターはブレンダンさん。テーマは『夏といえば？』です。
AIを使って資料を作られたのだとか、新聞記事もありましたが、まるで本当の記事のようでした。ゲストを含めたくさんの方が思い思いの夏を答えて下さいました。
論評はKoさんとLさんでした。お二人ともスピーカーの為になるという視点からのフィードバックで素晴らしい内容でした。
本日の表彰はベストテーブルトピックス賞はゲストのMさん。ベスト論評賞はLさん。
そして栄えあるベストスピーカー賞はKさん！
今回も学びのある例会だったと確信しています。
The 158th regular meeting is the first hybrid meeting of August.
It is still very hot, but in the meantime, the Obon vacation will soon be over.
Now, the number of members who participated in the meeting was small, and there were some members who suddenly could not participate, so the burden of their roles increased, but I was very impressed that each of them voluntarily took on their roles.
And from the introduction of the members, we were pleased to have three guests who joined the meeting for the first time.
TMOE is KE. They are always so calm that I feel they have the atmosphere of a veteran.
The word of the night was "backed up" by Y. I myself couldn't take it in well, so I felt exactly like I was pulling my hair back.
Now, the prepared speeches were given by K and Tiffany.
K's topic was "Microaggressions," and her speech was very interesting from various angles, including her own experiences and analysis from case studies.
Tiffany's speeches are always delivered in an excellent manner, and combined with the deep content of her speeches, they always leave a deep impression on us.
After a short break, the second half of the event began.
The table topic master was B. The theme was "What is summer to you?"
They used AI to create the material, and there were newspaper articles, but they seemed like real articles. Many people, including the guests, answered the question with their own summer in mind.
The commentary was by Ko and L. They both gave excellent feedback from the perspective that it was for the speaker's benefit.
Today's award for Best Table Topics went to our guest,M. The award for Best Commentary went to L. The Best Commentary Award went to L.
And the prestigious Best Speaker Award went to K!
I am confident that this was another learning experience.
