【第177回例会】2024年6月1日（土） 通常例会、参加者は合計13人 (会場：10人、オンライン：4人、うちゲストは1人)。
【レインボーモーメント】の一つ：「プライド月間」とグーグル日本で検索すると、様々なセクシュアリティの旗が出てくることに気が付いた会員が、このことを共有してくれました。（他の国のグーグルではならないようです。）
【今夜の言葉 Word of the Evening】cultivate/cultivation 耕す(たがやす) 動詞・名詞。
前回、入会してくれた会員ｋｋさんが、初の役割で「今日の言葉」をしてくれました。多くの方が使っていました。
【今日の準備スピーチ】
１．日本語のスピーチ「電子部品の魅力」。このスピーチは日本の輸出産業第２位の電子部品についての説明でした。暗記している内容も多く、素晴らしかったです。
２．日本語と英語のスピーチ「『デジタルに疲れた⼈のためのSNSガイドライン /Social media guidelines for the digitally tired 」。：ベストスピーカーに輝きました！
【テーブルトピック】Lさん「人生のパートナーの選び方、恋愛、結婚」でした。難しく楽しいテーマでした。ベスト賞は、ゲストのkさんでした！
【論評】ベスト論評賞は、uさん。
初めてのゲストの方は、「特に用意しないで来た」と言っていましたが、テーブルスピーチをして、素敵な言葉・フレーズをたくさん使っていたのがすごいなと思いました。
今日はダブルロールの人は１人だけで、役割がまんべんなくしてもらえました。
【告知】プロジェクトの提案。パスウェイズの１つとして会員全体に提案をして、会員からのフィードバックをもらうことになりました。
【例会後のアンケート】最近、回答が少ないので、会員・ゲストの皆さん、ご協力お願いします。
【6/29「特別例会」の提案】江戸小紋制作の体験。江戸時代からの着物に、ステンシルのような、細かい模様をつける作業を３時間程度。5500円。板橋区。適度な難易度。会員が以前体験しており非常におすすめ。6/29に何をしたいか、他に提案がある人は、スラックにいれてください。そこでさらに話し合って、決めます。

Meeting Type: Regular Meeting
Participants: Total of 13 (10 in person, 4 online, including 1 guest).
TMOE: KJ-san, experienced a brief computer freeze online but quickly recovered.
Rainbow Moment: One member shared that searching "Pride Month" on Google Japan displays various flags representing different sexualities. This feature doesn't seem to be available on Google in other countries.
Word of the Evening: "Cultivate/Cultivation" - Verb/Noun. Other Roles: Recently joined member KK-san took on the role of "Word of the Evening" for the first time. This word was used quite frequently by the participants.
Prepared Speeches:
Japanese Speech: "The Charm of Electronic Components." This speech explained about electronic components, Japan's second-largest export industry. The speaker had memorized much of the content and delivered it excellently.
Japanese and English Speech: "Social Media Guidelines for the Digitally Tired." This speech won the Best Speaker award!
Table Topics: Led by L-san, the theme was "Choosing Life Partners, Love, and Marriage." It was a challenging yet enjoyable topic. The Best Table Topic Speaker was the guest, K-san!
Evaluations: The Best Evaluator award went to U-san.
Guest Feedback: The first-time guest mentioned that they came without any preparation but delivered a table topic speech using many wonderful words and phrases, which was impressive.
Meeting Dynamics: Only one person had a double role today, ensuring roles were evenly distributed among participants.
Announcements:
Project Proposal: A proposal as part of the Pathways program was made, and feedback will be gathered from members.
Post-Meeting Survey: Recently, the number of responses has decreased, so please cooperate and fill out the survey.
Proposal for Special Meeting on June 29: Experience creating Edo Komon. This involves stenciling intricate patterns onto kimono, a practice from the Edo period, for about three hours. The cost is 5500 yen, and it will take place in Itabashi Ward. The difficulty level is moderate. A member who previously participated highly recommends it. If anyone has suggestions for what they would like to do on 6/29, please put them in Slack. We will discuss it further there and make a decision.
